Credit: Facebook / Singhs VietnameseSinghs Vietnamese, a San Antonio mini-chain known for its comfort-food approach to Southeast Asian cuisine, has closed both of its locations, MySA reports. The shutdown comes after Singhs took to social media last week to announce temporary closure at both stores from Aug. 3-5. However, co-founder Eric Treviño now tells MySA they have been shuttered permanently. The two Singhs restaurants, 2803 N. St. Mary’s St. and 7114 UTSA Blvd., served up a limited menu of Vietnamese favorites, including bun rice noodles and bánh mì sandwiches. Singhs started in late 2012 with a single food truck, then opened its north-of-downtown location five years later.
