During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the arrangements for Independence Day celebrations and the organization of various programmes and activities in government and private schools across the district. The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the administrations of government and private educational institutions to organize special programmes at their respective schools in connection with Independence Day. Speaking at the meeting, Cheema said that Independence Day was an important national occasion for every Pakistani. He directed school administrations to organize activities highlighting the importance of Independence Day and Pakistan’s history. The participated school representatives and officials assured the district administration of their full cooperation and expressed their commitment to organizing Independence Day celebrations in a befitting and enthusiastic manner throughout Shikarpur district.
