The Deputy Commissioner took a briefing from the officers present on the spot about the progress of the ongoing work and the steps taken regarding the drainage of water. She directed the concerned officers to further expedite the work of the sewer drain so that citizens can be provided relief from the problems of rainwater as soon as possible. DC Ayesha Rizwan clarified that all safety and precautionary measures should be ensured during the development and drainage works. She also ordered that concerned officers should be present on the spot and supervise the work to ensure quality and timely completion.
