COUNTY News:Camp May Road will be closed to all access, Mondays through Thursdays, Aug. 17 to Sept. 3 while crews install fiber optic cables. “We continue to have cars, bikers, and hikers accessing Camp May Road during periods of closure. This time, we will have to close the gate at the bottom of Camp May Road to prohibit access,” Senior Project Manager Ernesto Gallegos said. Camp May Road will be open Fridays through Sundays during the Aug. 17 to Sept. 3 time frame. Road access will also remain open on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7, but will close again Tuesday, Sept. 8.
