According to APP correspondent, the Assistant commissioner Taxila Dr Anas Saeed, Deputy District Health Officer Dr Shahzad Rasool, officials of district health authority, EPI and other departments were also present on this occasion. The special our-day targeted polio vaccination campaign launched in high risk areas including Rawalpindi City, Rawalpindi Cantonment, Rawalpindi Rural, and Taxila as a mobile high-risk population with regular movement between the district and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Dr Abdi Nasir check the roster of the anti polio staff, marking of houses and child administered anti polio drops and stock of anti polio vaccines and expressed his satisfaction over administration of anti polio drops among the children under the age of 5 in the area.
