He expressed these views while chairing a meeting along with Mayor Mirpurkhas Abdul Rauf Ghouri at the Commissioner Committee Hall to review arrangements for the August 14 Independence Day celebrations. He said that the district administration, Municipal Corporation, local government institutions, educational institutions, universities, Rescue 1122 and other departments would jointly organise programmes to mark the national day. He said the celebrations would also provide an opportunity to educate and sensitise the younger generation about the importance and blessings of independence. They assured their full cooperation in the Independence Day celebrations.
