The companies announced the deal Tuesday as demand for computing power to run AI models continues to surge, Reuters reported. The IBM Cloud cluster will use Nvidia’s HGX B300 systems, which connect the chipmaker’s latest Blackwell processors, along with Nvidia’s Spectrum-X Ethernet networking technology. For IBM, the deal strengthens its position in AI cloud infrastructure. For Together AI, access to a large Nvidia-powered cluster could help it expand the availability of open-source AI models for enterprise customers.
