JASON Jakeman took six wickets as Leamington CC claimed a seven-wicket victory against Worfield while Harrison Smith hit an unbeaten century. Jakeman starred with the ball and helped bowl Worfield out for 169 in 47.4 overs at Davenport Park. In reply, Leamington opener Smith (100 not out) remained at the crease throughout the away side’s innings. Worfield took three wickets but could not remove Smith as Leamington cruised to victory in 36.1 overs. Leamington are next in action against Old Hill on Saturday, July 25 with play to begin at 12pm(midday) at Arlington Avenue.
