SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) The district administration suspended the tehsil manager over poor sanitation arrangements during a surprise inspection of Bhalwal city. According to the spokesperson here on Tuesday, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Municipal Services) and Managing Director, Suthra Punjab Agency (SPA) Muhammad Atif Sindhu inspected various streets, roads and residential areas and reviewed the cleanliness situation. The Director SPA expressed dissatisfaction over heaps of garbage, inadequate sanitation and negligence on the part of sanitation staff and also suspended the tehsil manager over poor arrangements. He said that merely submitting reports claiming that “all is well” would not be acceptable, stressing that sanitation standards would not be compromised under the Suthra Punjab programme. The ADC warned that negligence, absenteeism or dereliction of duty by officials or staff would invite disciplinary action without discrimination.
