COUGHTON Village Fete returns to the grounds of Coughton Court on Saturday (August 1). Visitors can enjoy all the fun of a traditional English village fete, including a raffle, tombola, homemade cake stall, craft and produce stalls, as well as a dog show, where four-legged friends can compete for a range of rosettes. Imogen Birch Throckmorton, who manages the family estate alongside her husband Magnus, said: “After such a fantastic response last year, we’re delighted to be hosting Coughton Village Fete at Coughton Court once again. It’s a chance to enjoy a classic summer’s day out with family and friends, celebrate local community spirit and make the most of everything that makes a traditional English fete so special.” Entry to the fete, gardens and grounds is free and the fete runs from 11am to 4pm.
