On Monday evening, August 10, 2026, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers with the Paris Police Department were on patrol in the 300 block of NW 19th Street when they observed a male subject walking on the wrong side of the roadway. Officers made contact with the subject and immediately detected the odor of marijuana coming from his person. Officers also observed the subject holding a pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana in his mouth. When questioned, the male admitted to using marijuana, and officers observed marijuana residue in the pipe. Officers made 7 traffic stops, 1 adult arrest, and answered 57 calls for service during this reporting period.
