The championship would be held at the 50-meter swimming pool of University of Agriculture Faisalabad from 4:30 p.m. on Thursday (August 13). The swimmers would compete in age categories of Under-06, Under-08, Under-10, Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16 while an open category has also been included in the championship. The competition would further feature senior age groups of 41 to 50 years, 51 to 60 years and above 60 years, making the event a broad-based swimming championship catering to participants from children to veteran swimmers. The registration would be available on the spot, enabling eligible swimmers to register at the venue before participating in the championship. It was aimed at promoting swimming, encouraging healthy sporting activities among young people and providing a competitive platform for swimmers of different age groups.
