Gandhi Medical College has secured the 43rd rank nationally, ninth in thezone and first in Telangana among government medical colleges in the IIRF–2026 rankings. Faculty members said the ranking reflected the collectiveefforts of the Gandhi Medical College fraternity in medical education,patient care, academics, research and teamwork under the leadership of thePrincipal. In the Telangana rankings, Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad,was placed 52nd, while Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal, secured the 60thposition. Faculty members described Gandhi Medical College's 43rd national rank andfirst position in Telangana as a milestone for the institution and said itwould motivate students and faculty to aim for higher rankings. Faculty members felicitated the Principal, followed by a cake-cuttingceremony.
