Virgin Media O2 has announced the installation of its 500th UK Giga site. Virgin Media O2 hits a full fibre milestone. Virgin Media O2 has heavily upgraded its mobile infrastructure in recent years, having invested £700m in 2025. It is doing this with the installation of Giga sites – the most advanced mobile sites. Virgin Media O2 invested £700m in 2025 and is spending the equivalent of £2m a day in 2026.
