Tens of thousands have crossed the Gordie Howe International Bridge from Windsor to Detroit since it opened July 27.

The new bridge adds to Windsor's existing two border crossings, the Ambassador Bridge and the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel, which, together, are Canada's busiest land crossings.
Another 18,100 U.S. residents used the Gordie Howe Bridge to cross to Canada by car between the opening and July 31.
A total of 4,100 commercial transport trucks entered or returned to Canada via the Gordie Howe bridge in the last days of July.
