Helping Hands Community Project, which supports residents facing homelessness, poverty and hardship, has a new kitchen at its premises in Althorpe Street. Its new, more practical and comfortable kitchen was made possible thanks to donations of kitchen units and paint from the Wickes Community Programme. Colleagues from Wickes Leamington store even helped out with the renovation. Wickes social impact manager Hannah Randle Hockin said: “We’re always looking for practical ways to support the communities around our stores. The team at Helping Hands Community Project does vital work for people in Leamington, and we’re glad we could lend a hand with materials for their renovation.
