LODHRAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Punjab Emergency Service Rescue 1122,in collaboration with the district administration, conducted first-ever night pre-flood mock exercise to assess preparedness for any possible flood emergency in the district. A smartly turned-out contingent of Rescue 1122 presented a guard of honour to the chief guest. During the exercise, Rescue 1122 established multiple emergency relief camps to ensure timely assistance to people affected by a possible flood. District Emergency Officer Engineer Shakeel Ahmed briefed the participants about Rescue 1122’s pre-flood preparations, available resources and operational capabilities for conducting rescue operations during a flood emergency. DC said Rescue 1122 teams across the district were ready round the clock to respond to any possible flood situation and were also fully capable of conducting rescue operation at night.
