Stratford-based Law Lane Solicitors reached the total by volunteering their time and expertise to help people write wills in exchange for a charitable donation during the scheme. Tahir Shahab Khan of Law Lane Solicitors said: "Will Aid is always a highlight for us – it’s a chance to do something positive for both our clients and the wider community. Lauren Poole, chair of Will Aid, praised the firm’s efforts. Ms Poole said: "It’s always inspiring to see firms come together to support Will Aid, giving their time and expertise to help clients while raising vital funds for our partner charities." The campaign has raised more than £26 million since it began in 1988, with further funds pledged through charitable legacies.
