A BUS enthusiast was given a glimpse behind the scenes at a Stratford depot. The tour showed Alistair all the different sections and modern technology that today’s bus network needs to operate – and even gave him some Stagecoach gifts and the chance to sit behind the wheel of a bus. The tour was led by leading driver Rob Jones, and Alistair also had the opportunity to speak with Allan Wells in the paint shop and bus driver James Allanson. He particularly enjoyed seeing the historic Routemaster bus on site. Hopefully, Alistair enjoyed his visit and maybe, in a few years’ time, we’ll be welcoming his application to join the team.”
