LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) arrested three men inseparate operations in Lahore, Multan and Dera Ghazi Khan for allegedly involvingin cyber harassment, blackmail, threats and misuse of personal data. According to a spokesman, In Lahore, the authorities arrested Azeem Jafri of Faisalabadin connection with a complaint regarding online harassment and defamation. In Multan, the agency arrested Jamshed Mahmood Khan from Gulgasht Gol Bagh Park. Punjab NCCIA Director Muhammad Ali Wasim said the agency would continue taking strict action against individuals using cyberspace for harassment, blackmail, threats and violations of citizens’ privacy. He directed NCCIA teams to further strengthen investigations and enforcement against cybercrime and ensure effective protection of citizens’ privacy and digital rights.
