SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) A 22-year-old youth lost his life after suffering a severe electric shock while repairing a water pump in Kot Momin tehsil of Sargodha district on Tuesday. According to Rescue 1122, the tragic incident took place in the Kot Umrana area, where the victim, identified as Bakhtiar Ahmad, was fixing a faulty water pump when he accidentally received a massive electric shock. Upon receiving the information, a Rescue 1122 team promptly reached the spot and carried out necessary emergency measures to save his life. However, the youth could not survive and had already succumbed to the fatal electric shock before any medical assistance could prove effective, the spokesperson added.
