Claims bike riders are destroying a south Warwickshire glow-worm habitat
[]
The Stratford Observer
Kenilworth Common is one of the few places with a glow-worm population.
The nature reserve is being routinely damaged by bike riders, according to Warwickshire Wildlife Trust.
This is disastrous for the glow-worms and the other wildlife living at Kenilworth Common, says the charity.
Glow worms are extremely rare in Warwickshire, and Kenilworth Common is one of a small number of places with a glow-worm population.
WWT is asking people to consider other, more appropriate locations for bikes and to not use a designated nature reserve for this activity.
