Ideel Shad appeared before Chester Crown Court today, Tuesday, after pleading guilty to dangerous driving and driving with no insurance. Chester Crown Court heard how at 1.50pm, PC Smith attempted to stop a BMW 4 Series on the M6 northbound by slowing in front of it and displaying a matrix board reading ‘follow me’. But Shad, the driver of the BMW, refused to stop, veering off to the opposite side of the carriageway and swerving in and out of lanes, causing traffic to brake heavily. When Shad, who was injured in the crash, was arrested, it was discovered he had no insurance. Chester Crown Court heard how Shad has two convictions for four previous offences.
