A Westminster MP has reached out to Scottish Water requesting a meeting to address concerns over reports of pollution entering the Water of Leith via The Murrayburn.
Additionally, Dr Arthur has committed to circulating guidance produced by the British Horse Society for horse riders’ who use of the path.
Dr Scott Arthur said: “It’s clear from this survey that the Water of Leith is one of our area’s greatest assets.
In May, he published a survey encouraging constituents to share their experiences of using the Water of Leith.
Due to strong engagement with the survey, Dr Arthur held a public meeting at the Balerno Parish Church Hall in June.
