Fire razes Access Bank branch, residential building in Kano

Two separate fire outbreaks were recorded on Monday in Kano State, affecting an Access Bank branch in Dawakin Tofa and a residential building in Kumbotso Local Government area of the state.
The Kano State Fire Service confirmed that the first incident occurred at about 1:17pm at Access Bank, Dawanau, Dawakin Tofa.
He said firefighters from the Dawanau Fire Station rushed to the scene and found a one-storey building of about 100 by 80 feet in flames.
Abdullahi said firefighters from the Sharada Industrial Area Station responded to the call and found a ground-floor residential building of about 40 by 30 feet already ablaze.
The PRO said the Director of the state fire service, Alhaji Sani Anas, appealed to residents to remain vigilant and adopt proactive measures to reduce fire outbreaks.
