BIRMINGHAM Airport has welcomed care-experienced young adults behind the scenes. For the second year running, has invited youngsters on side to provide opportunities to develop workplace skills, grow in confidence and discover potential career paths. Antoinette Farrell-Jones, people director at Birmingham Airport, said, “It has been a privilege to welcome and support these young adults over the last two weeks. “We hope they leave knowing there are many different career paths open to them, and I sincerely hope that some of them will return to Birmingham Airport as colleagues in the months and years ahead.” To mark the end of the placement, the airport hosted a graduation ceremony, bringing participants and Birmingham Airport colleagues together to recognise and celebrate everything the group had achieved during the programme.
