LEAMINGTON have signed American striker Chris Wreh after he featured for the club throughout pre-season. And Wreh has impressed Brakes boss Scott Easterlow enough to earn a contract at the Your Co-op Community Stadium for the upcoming campaign. Wreh is the son of former Liberia and Arsenal striker Christopher Wreh who won a Premier League and FA Cup double with the Gunners in 1997/98. Wreh has also played for the likes of AFC Rushden and Diamonds, Dunstable Town, Stratford Town, Southend United, Hartlepool United, Scunthorpe United and Hereford. He has played as high as the National League and helped Tamworth win the National League North title in 2023/24.
