DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Paharpur police have arrested the alleged mastermind of a robbery targeting a Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) employee and recovered Rs280,000 in cash reportedly snatched during the incident. According to police spokesman, the operation was carried out on the directives of District Police Officer(DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed, under the supervision of SP Paharpur Division Iqbal Khan Baloch and led by DSP Paharpur Parvez Shah. Police said he was allegedly the mastermind of the robbery gang. Police recovered Rs280,000 from the suspect, which they said was part of the cash stolen from the TMA employee. DSP Paharpur Parvez Shah said that indiscriminate action against thieves and robbers would continue and that all available resources were being utilized to protect the lives and property of citizens.
