LEAMINGTON CC suffered a 64-run home defeat against lowly Kidderminster as the club’s promotion hopes continue to fade. Kidderminster posted 230 all out at Arlington Avenue as Mateen Khan and Connor Adams both recorded half-centuries for the visitors despite a five-wicket haul for Leamington’s James Hawkins. A flurry of wickets saw Kidderminster slip from 152-4 to 176-8 only for Adams (51) to record a half-century batting at eight. White (4-25) took the match-winning wicket as Leamington suffered back-to-back league defeats. Leamington are next in action against Shifnal on Saturday, August 8 with play to begin at 12pm(midday) at Shifnal Cricket Ground.
