PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher education Regulatory Authority (HERA) has initiated action against an unregistered nursing college in Taimargara, Lower Dir for allegedly conducting academic activities without mandatory registration with the regulatory authority. According to a notice issued by HERA, Daneen College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences Bajaur Road in Taimargara, Lower Dir was operating without obtaining the required registration from HERA. The authority also stated that the institution admitted students to its BS Generic Nursing program without obtaining prior registration from HERA. HERA termed the admissions and operation of the institution without registration a violation of the relevant laws and regulations. The college administration has been directed to appear before the HERA chairman to explain its position.
