WAH CANTT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Taxila Police have arrested an alleged inter-district drug supplier and recovered 5.3 kilogrammes of hashish from his possession during an operation against narcotics trafficking, police said. According to police sources, the suspect was allegedly involved in supplying drugs across different areas of Taxila, including near educational institutions. During initial interrogation, the arrested suspect allegedly disclosed that he had been supplying narcotics in various parts of the city and around educational institutions, raising concerns over the availability of drugs to young people. Police said the suspect was a known and previously convicted drug offender, with a record of involvement in earlier narcotics-related cases. A case has been registered against the suspect under the relevant provisions of the narcotics laws, while further investigation is underway.
