PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) A high level meeting chaired by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Speaker Babar Saleem Swati on Tuesday discussed operationalization and completion of Taimargara Medical College. The meeting was attended by Provincial Minister for Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khaleeq ur Rehman, Secretary Health Fayaz Ali Shah and other senior officials of health department. The meeting reviewed in detail the progress, issues and requirements related to Taimargara Medical College and decided that all necessary requirements for making the college functional would be completed on a priority basis. Provincial Minister for Health Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khaleeq ur Rehman has said that operationalization of Taimargara Medical College is among the government’s priorities and all necessary measures will be taken on an urgent basis to ensure its early completion. Speaker Saleem Swati stressed the importance of the medical college for the people of the area and directed the relevant authorities to take effective measures to remove all hurdles and complete the remaining requirements at the earliest.
