RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Taxila Police have arrested an alleged inter-district drug supplier and recovered 5.3 kilograms of hashish from his possession during a crackdown here on Tuesday. According to police spokesperson, the suspect was arrested during a targeted operation against drug trafficking in the area. During a search, police recovered 5.3kg of hashish from his custody. Police said the suspect disclosed during interrogation that he had been supplying narcotics to various parts of the city, including educational institutions. The suspect was also previously involved in narcotics-related cases and had a criminal record, including convictions, police said.
