ZANZIBAR: THE Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has appointed international referee Ahmed Arajiga to officiate the Community Shield match between Simba and Young Africans in Zanzibar tomorrow, August 12, 2026. Arajiga will be responsible for enforcing the 17 Laws of the Game in the highly anticipated encounter between the two leading football clubs in Tanzania. He will be assisted by Mohamed Mkono from Tanga and Leonard Mkumbo from Manyara, while Nassir Siyah from Zanzibar will serve as the fourth match official. Simba and Yanga will face each other tomorrow in the Community Shield match, scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the New Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar. The match is expected to be one of the most fiercely contested fixtures on the Tanzanian football calendar, as the two sides battle for the Community Shield title.
