Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) on Tuesday announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026, earlier scheduled for August 16, has been rescheduled to September 20 on the directions of the Prime MinisterISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Aug, 2026) Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) on Tuesday announced that the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026, earlier scheduled for August 16, has been rescheduled to September 20 on the directions of the Prime Minister. The council said the decision was aimed at ensuring the smooth, secure and transparent conduct of the examination while facilitating candidates. All other terms, conditions and examination arrangements will remain unchanged unless notified otherwise, it added. Candidates have been advised to regularly visit the official PM&DC website and official communication channels for further updates and instructions. The PM&DC appreciated the understanding and cooperation of all stakeholders and regretted any inconvenience caused by the rescheduling.
