Mistral Inc., an Ondas company, received a U.S. Army order worth more than $50 million for tactical lethal uncrewed systems under a previously awarded $982 million multiyear contract, the company announced in a statement. The order was issued through an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting the Army’s Lethal Unmanned Systems (LUS) program, the statement reads. The new award extends production under the same Army contract and may include future integration, training, and sustainment work. The company says the order supports its work in tactical strike systems, loitering munitions, mission planning, target identification, autonomous operations, and post-mission assessment.
