The man had apparent gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead by a District Medical Officer (DMO) at the scene, where crime scene investigators found five spent shells. The second and third murders occurred within minutes of each other at Prince Street, Calvary Hill, Arima. Around 4.15 am, Reon “Rambo” Thomas, 27, of By-Pass Road, Arima, was reportedly walking along the road with his girlfriend when a car stopped alongside them. A short while later, the vehicle with the gunmen stopped in front of a car heading in the opposite direction. The gunman appeared to reload his gun before running towards the getaway vehicle and re-entering alongside his accomplice.
