A Christian motorist in the United Kingdom is considering legal action after his insurance provider told him to remove “Jesus Loves You” stickers from his car or risk losing coverage. He explained they were not being used commercially but simply “to spread a positive message that Jesus loves you.” The Christian Legal Centre is supporting Chandra as he considers his legal options. Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, said the dispute reaches beyond an insurance technicality and into religious liberty. “If insurers can refuse cover because a customer displays a Christian message, that should alarm everyone who cares about freedom of religion and freedom of expression,” she said.
