Post-quantum cryptography expanded across embedded, networking, and satellite systems by wolfSSLNewsDan Taylor Technology Editor Military Embedded SystemsStock imageEDMONDS, Washington.
wolfSSL introduced seven developments extending post-quantum cryptography and Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-3 support across embedded, Linux, networking, virtualization, and satellite systems, the company announced in a statement.
Additional work includes FrodoKEM support, post-quantum algorithms for the Linux Kernel Crypto application programming interface, and post-quantum verification for kernel modules, the company says.
The company is also developing a satellite cryptographic module targeting FIPS 140-3 Level 3 validation.
The module was listed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology as an implementation under test in July 2026, wolfSSL adds.
