An arrest affidavit details a deadly incident last month in Deep Ellum that involved a man being pushed down stairs. The affidavit says three people were leaving a bar on Main Street when they got into a verbal argument with 21-year-old Josiah Gomez while on the stairway from the upstairs bar. One witness said Gomez told Sylvester Victor Jr., 26, to walk faster, then called him a slur before pushing him down the stairs.
