Dunstone was one spot back of McEwen (3-1) in Pool B’s standings entering the day with a 2-1 record. With a 4-1 lead through five ends, Dunstone’s team scored three points in the sixth and two more in the eighth as McEwen’s rink conceded the final two ends. In the other men’s games, Kevin Koe (2-1) defeated Calan MacIsaac (0-4) 7-3 and Rylan Kleiter (1-3) topped Sam Mooibroek (0-3) 7-1.
