First, YouTube is rolling out Practice Mode for vertical livestreams. Once a creator is comfortable with how everything looks, they can then go live directly from Practice Mode with the tap of a button. Instagram added live practice mode in 2021, and TikTok and LinkedIn also have live stream practice modes. YouTube said the new insights option will give creators data-driven insights into their Shorts hook, visuals and pacing, which should help improve performance.
