Given that his company has invested around $1 trillion into AI development, it makes sense that he’d be enthusiastic about this. However, Zuckerberg also used this opus to take aim at critics of AI and policymakers who could impede progress, as he rebuffs the rising backlash against AI tools. But as Meta looks to offset negative PR about AI advances, Zuckerberg is keen to put the focus on the advances that AI systems will drive, rather than system efficiencies that will impact workers. But in order to achieve this utopian vision, Zuckerberg said access to AI tools needs to be universal. Zuckerberg does make some valid notes about the opportunities for AI technology.
