The City Council voted once again to defer an ordinance that looked to abolish the city's Parking Commission after several at-length conversations over the last several weeks.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The City Council voted once again to defer an amended ordinance to abolish the city’s Parking Commission after several at-length conversations over the last several weeks.
At last Thursday’s meeting, several council members said after speaking with downtown business leaders, they have additional concerns.
She also said that her motion to postpone doesn’t mean she agrees with abolishing the Parking Commission, nor placing enforcement under CPD.
