Amanda Sophia Bitterauf passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2026, in Honolulu, Hawaii, just days before her 44th birthday. As a young child, Amanda spent her summers in Maine with family on the shores of Webb Lake. From that moment on, she was embraced and cherished by a loving family, countless friends and wonderfully supportive community. After graduating from Gould Academy, Amanda headed west in search of new experiences, eventually settling in Hawaii. Though her time with us was far too short, Amanda leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, curiosity, and love.
