A major Moe’s Southwest Grill franchisee has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Quality Fresca filed for bankruptcy last week in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida. As of Dec. 31, 2025, Quality Fresca had approximately $44 million in assets and liabilities of about $52 million. Moe’s Southwest Grill is part of GoTo Foods, which also operates Schlotzsky’s, Carvel, Cinnabon, McAlister’s Deli, Auntie Anne’s, and Jamba. In 2025, Moe’s systemwide sales by 8.7% year-over-year, according to Technomic Data, while its unit count shrunk by 4.7% to end the year with 568 locations.
