Lafayette, LA - The family of Granison "Tim" Timmins Alexander III sadly announce his passing on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Tim, as he was known by his family and friends, passed away peacefully at Avanti Senior Living in Lafayette, Louisiana. Tim is survived by his beloved wife, Ashley Weimar Alexander; three daughters, Caroline Alexander Wells (and her husband John Wells), Rebecca Alexander Quarls (and her husband Michael Quarls), and Laura Alexander Neal (and her husband David Neal); four grandchildren, Jack and Georgia Wells, Ben Bruin Quarls, and Eleanor Neal; and one sister, Stephenie Nix (and her husband Mark Nix). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Tim Alexander; and two brothers, Edward Alexander and Gordon Alexander. Of all his accomplishments, Tim was perhaps proudest of what he affectionately called "The Alexander Girls"-his three daughters.
