Laplace, LA - Marion Paul Broussard passed away at his residence surrounded by family on Saturday, August 8, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Virgie Vicaro Broussard, son Craig Broussard, infant son Matthew, infant greatgrandchildren Halle and Evan, parents Charles and Julia Broussard, sister Joyce Harville, brother Rev. A founding member of the LaPlace Recreation and Youth Organization, he actively promoted youth baseball in St. John Parish. He served on the boards of the St. John Parish Council on Aging, American Red Cross and St. Joan of Arc Catholic School. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, August 17, 2026 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W. 5th St., LaPlace, LA.
