New Orleans, LA - On August 3, 2026, Johnny C. Vanderson was called home to eternal rest. Johnny was born on May 6, 1942, in Roxie, Mississippi and raised in Baton Rouge, LA. He joined the United States Air Force, and later the Air Force Reserves, and served honorably for 31 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. Johnny was a member of The Asia Baptist Church, he sung in the Joint Choir and Men's Choir. Celebration of Life Homegoing Service will be on August 13, 2026, at The Asia Baptist Church, 1400 Sere Street, New Orleans, Louisiana.
