Covington, Louisiana - Michael Blance "Mike" Johnston, of Covington, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the age of 65. Mike loved watching football and listening to country music. Mike is survived by his father, Ken Johnston; step mother, Doris Hoover Johnston; brother, Kenny Johnston; sister, Aimee Johnston (Buddy Brown); step brother, Paul Adams (Kim); and extended family, Derek Brown, (Jennifer), Justin Brown (Adair), Erin Darden (Abe), Sean Adams, Kimberly Adams, and all of their families. He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Gibson "Dippy" Flanakin Daniels; step father, Gene Daniels; and grandparents, Marion Kendall Johnston, Sr., Nona Burton Johnston, Blance Gibson "Mike" Flanakin, and Louise LeNoir Flanakin.
